The First & Only in the World
The world's first university dedicated entirely to the ancient Thai healing art of Tok Sen. We preserve, teach and advance the traditional practice of tapping the body's Sen lines — from its Northern Thai roots to a global academic standard.
Tok Sen University was founded on a singular belief: that the ancient Northern Thai healing practice of Tok Sen deserves the same academic rigour as any other medical discipline. We are committed to becoming the world's leading institution for teaching, researching and preserving Tok Sen.
Tok Sen University is housed within d'Olde Melkfabriek — a beautifully restored historic dairy factory in Terwolde, Netherlands. Its lecture halls, practice rooms and treatment spaces form the world's first dedicated Tok Sen campus. Centrally located between Apeldoorn, Deventer and Zutphen, with free parking and excellent accessibility.
At the heart of Tok Sen practice lies an intimate knowledge of the body's ten major energy pathways — the Sen Lines. Understanding, locating and working these lines is the foundation of every programme at Tok Sen University. The word "Tok Sen" itself translates as "hammer the line" — a discipline that demands both precision and intuition.
Our curriculum covers each Sen Line in depth: its path through the body, its corresponding organs and functions, and the precise Tok Sen techniques applied to restore its flow.
From your first encounter with the wooden mallet to the mastery of all ten Sen Lines — our programmes guide you through every level of Tok Sen practice.
Every teacher at Tok Sen University carries a direct lineage to the Northern Thai tradition. No generic wellness instructors. Only practitioners who have devoted their lives to this ancient art.
There is something fitting about teaching an ancient healing art inside a building that has served its community for over a century. d'Olde Melkfabriek — the Old Dairy Factory — stands in Terwolde as a monument to craft, patience and the passing of knowledge through generations.
Our campus sits at the heart of the Stedendriehoek (Steel Triangle) — the region between Apeldoorn, Deventer and Zutphen — easily accessible from anywhere in the Netherlands.
